Olympic champ Jakob Ingebrigtsen just launched Spring Run Club with his brothers and top Norwegian athletes, a new project aiming to unite runners worldwide through shared knowledge, community, and support.

Today, double Olympic gold medalist Jakob Ingebrigtsen officially launched Spring Run Club, a new running collective that includes his two brothers and a pair of elite Norwegian athletes.

The newly formed team features middle-distance veterans Filip and Henrik Ingebrigtsen, long-distance standout Karoline Bjerkeli Grøvdal, and cross-country skier Marthe Kristoffersen.

Together, they aim to create something more than just another elite training group.

According to the Ingebrigtsen brothers, Spring Run Club is open to all runners of every background, skill level, and experience.

The team members plan to share their insights, training philosophies, and personal advice with a global community of runners.

“We want to pass on what we’ve learned and spark a movement among runners everywhere,” Jakob explained in a public statement. “From elite-level support to local club roots, we’ve had incredible backing. Now we want to unify it all into a worldwide community that’s truly dedicated to the craft and science of running.”

The project also marks a significant business partnership.

The Ingebrigtsens and their team have joined forces with Norwegian omega-3 company Smartfish Sports Nutrition AS, which will become a primary sponsor.

Both the Ingebrigtsen brothers and Spring Run Club are now shareholders in the company.

Smartfish has committed to injecting at least NOK 30 million (approximately $2.97 million) in funding to help develop and grow the team.

Off the track, Jakob remains entangled in a difficult legal situation involving his father and former coach, Gjert Ingebrigtsen. Gjert faces serious charges after Norwegian prosecutors accused him of abusing two of his children, Jakob and Ingrid.

A verdict in the case is expected within weeks, with a potential prison sentence of two and a half years.

As this new chapter begins, Jakob and his team hope Spring Run Club becomes more than just a name they want it to be a worldwide hub for running passion, performance, and knowledge.
