How to Watch the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon

The 2025 TCS New York City Marathon is coming to screens worldwide on November 2. Find out how to watch live on TV, stream online, follow on the NYRR App, and catch all the race-day action from start to finish.

The iconic 2025 TCS New York City Marathon will be broadcast live on Sunday, November 2, bringing the excitement of the Big Apple to viewers around the world.

Locally, WABC-TV Channel 7 will air the race from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., with pre-race coverage beginning at 7 a.m.

Fans can also stream the Find Your Finish camera on ABC7NY.com starting at 10 a.m. and continuing until the last runner crosses the line.

The marathon will reach audiences in over 160 countries and territories through partners including ESPN2 in the U.S. and WABC-TV/ABC 7 in New York City.

A live radio broadcast will be available on iHeartRadio New York’s 710 WOR and iHeartMedia streaming platforms.

For the first time, the NYRR App will allow spectators to watch live coverage of all four professional divisions.

Since 2013, ABC 7/WABC-TV and ESPN2 have been the home of the award-winning marathon broadcast.

Ahead of race day, New York Road Runners will debut their first-ever short documentary, Final Finishers, on ESPN+ and ABC7NY.com on Saturday, Nov. 1.

The 30-minute film, co-produced with Tribeca Studios, celebrates the runners at the back of the pack and premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Festival.

A sneak peek will air during the 3-5 p.m. ET finish-line coverage on ABC Network.

TV Coverage Details

  • U.S. Broadcast: ESPN2 and ESPN App from 8-11:30 a.m. ET. Pre-race coverage on ESPN+ and ESPN App from 7-8 a.m., with post-race streaming 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Spanish-language Broadcast: ESPN3 from 8-11:30 a.m. ET and re-airing on ESPN Deportes at 8 a.m. ET on Monday, Nov. 3.
  • Local Coverage: ABC7/WABC-TV from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., with pre-race from 7-8 a.m., plus live streaming on ABC7NY.com.

New to the broadcast team is Olympian Clayton Young, covering race leaders, while Will Reeve joins as co-host for the finish-line show on ABC Network from 3-5 p.m. ET.

Returning commentators include Hannah Storm, John Anderson, Carrie Tollefson, Kurt Fearnley, and Amanda McGrory, with a robust team of reporters across the course.

Olympian Kara Goucher and veteran commentator Paul Swangard will cover the world feed.

IMG has secured global coverage through ESPN International (Americas), Eurosport (Europe, Southeast Asia, India), Fox Sports/Kayo (Australia), L’Equipe (France), RAI (Italy), SMG Sports (China), SuperSport (Sub-Saharan Africa), TSN (Canada), and TVE/Tv3 (Spain).

Radio Coverage

iHeartMedia New York’s 710 WOR and global streaming platforms will broadcast live from 7:30 a.m.-noon ET, featuring analysis by Olympic medalist Galen Rupp, Tim McLoone, and live reporting from the course.

NYRR App Coverage

The NYRR App, developed by Tata Consultancy Services, offers live runner tracking, leaderboards, and feeds from multiple course cameras, including the start, miles 8, 16, 20, and the finish line.

The app also includes an interactive Spectator Guide for the best cheering locations. It is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
